Due to size differences between the Gameboy screen and the iPhone’s screen, you can only see the time through the case (which is actually more than you can say for other cases) and it’s a little tricky getting the phone out of the case. The Supercar Superbike is by far the craziest vehicle we’ve ever covered here. I’m not even sure whether to call it a car or a motorcycle since it’s really both. This DIY project was completed by Frenchman François Knorreck over a 10 year span in which he spent over 10,000 hours building it from the frame up. The “car” is essentially a trike, as the only front wheel is the one attached to the motorcycle (there are two rear wheels) or perhaps a motorcycle with a sports car sidecar. Although I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a sidecar bigger than the motorcycle itself before. This led to some tricky engineering to balance it properly.



There’s a triple 1000cc Laverda motorcycle engine in there- note the 3 exhaust pipes. The hubs and brakes come from a VW Golf GTI, the wheels are from an Audi 80, headlights and blinkers came from BMW and Renault cars, the bike’s headlight comes from a Kawasaki 1000 RX bike, the tail lights from a Citroën Xantia car and that’s a 3CL motorcycle used. The bodywork was made from 63 custom molds.

Everyone’s probably familiar with the classic line from the beginning of each Mission Impossible episode where each mission’s instructional letter self destructs. Well the Tamatebako flash drive from Fujitsu is a modern take on that same premise- a self destructing data source. Now unlike the TV series, the drive doesn’t actually burst into a tiny fireball but it does effectively render itself useless. The Tamatebako can be set to erase any data stored at a given time frame from 10 minutes to a week. It can be set to delete if the incorrect password is entered or if it’s plugged into an unauthorized computer. It holds 2GB of memory and will be available in Japan initially for an undisclosed price. Tin foil hat not included.

Most clocks have their batteries hidden away on the backside, never meant to be seen once they are installed. Not so much with the Front & Back Clock from the Wrong Objects. This clock lets it’s all hang out by letting the whole front of the clock rotate with the batteries serving as the clock hands. Of course it looks much cleaner and neater if you use super generic batteries without labels, otherwise you’ve just turned your clock into an Energizer advertisement.
