We have some great news for those of you living in Canada now, as Amazon has finally decided to start shipping their popular Kindle reader to Canadian homes.

As reported from BGR, the release in Canada has been long overdue, with American consumers having had the first generation device for a few years now.

That said and done, Canadians will now be able to purchase a Kindle from the Amazon website, where you’ll see it listed for $259 USD ($275 CDN).

If e-books are your sort of thing, the Kindle is a no-brainer really, with a estimated 300,000 books available from the word go.
